Ísafold – Icelandic handbags

Ísafold est.2011, is an Icelandic handbag brand created by Heiðrún Björk Jóhannsdóttir. Designer Heiðrún seeks inspiration in her surroundings, people on the street and prominent characters. With her Greenlandic background it can’t go unnoticed that the colours and rough Greenlandic nature has had an impact on her designs. The brand’s main goal is to be able to stick out from the crowd with simple yet multifunctional handbags that can be used in many different circumstances. All handbags are designed and handmade by Heiðrún herself in her studio in Íshús Hafnarfjarðar where Ísafold’s showroom is also located.
