Varðveisla is a product line made out of stoneware. The containers are designed for food preparation, preservation and consumption. They facilitate food preparation through natural processes in which microbes are in control. The pentagonal shapes of the containers are derived from nature. The texture, color and pattern on the surface of the clay come from the ingredients used in the process of preparing the food. The containers are handmade, therefore each of them is unique. Methods based on old traditions in cooking are used and brought to a modern design.
